The passenger detection system (IPS) D-version provides an improved connection system, which simplifies installation, maintenance and repairs, in contrast to the now discontinued MO-version. This eliminates the need for additional connecting elements. The modules can optionally be clamped or screwed and replaced individually. The end modules of the D-version are active in contrast to those of the MO-version. The evaluation takes place in the central unit TLCU, which is connected to the transmitters and receivers via adapter cables.
