The passenger detection system (IPS) E-version is a further development of the proven C-version. The light curtain consists of up to 99 light barriers each consisting of transmitter and receiver modules as well as an active end module on the transmitter and receiver side. The single modules can easily be connected with plug connectors to long module chains. Additional connecting elements are not required. This results in a low risk of default. Single modules can be easily exchanged. The evaluation takes place in the central unit TLCU, which is connected to the transmitters and receivers via adapter cables.
