Escalators with light curtains of the discontinued MO-version can be modernized with the D-version. For this purpose, adapter modules are available which can be easily connected to the already existing adapter cables of the previous version. Thus,  there is no need to replace the adapter cables. Only transmitter and receiver modules of the new version have to be installed.

Special features of the receiver adapter for conversion from MO- to D-version are:
